Furuno introduces the TZMAP Series, a new line of chartplotters engineered for recreational and professional boaters seeking dependable navigation, accurate sonar performance, and advanced charting in a straightforward, stand-alone solution.
Available in 9" and 13" display sizes, the TZMAP9 and TZMAP13 combine practical functionality with advanced technology, delivering essential navigation and fish-finding tools without unnecessary complexity.
The TZMAP Series features an intuitive, touch-based user interface derived from the proven NavNet TZtouchXL platform. Familiar gesture controls, such as swiping and single-tap menu access, allow rapid interaction with navigation and sonar functions, ensuring key information and tools are always within reach.
With TZ MAPS, navigators can select and download only the chart data they need, including wide-area coverage, satellite imagery, and detailed bathymetric information. Depth shading, bathymetric overlays, and multiple color palettes improve chart readability and situational awareness, supporting precise navigation in diverse conditions.
Users can also create, edit, and manage custom chart objects, enabling real-time updates to aids to navigation. These user-defined objects can be shared with the TZ MAPS community and easily managed through the layered chart display.
The TZMAP Series features an integrated TruEcho CHIRP™ or CW fish finder, delivering 300 W, 600 W, or 1 kW of power for precise detection of fish and underwater structures. The built-in CHIRP Side-Scan provides high-definition imaging of the seabed, revealing the shape of underwater structures and fish targets in eight selectable color palettes.
For enhanced safety, the TZMAP Series is compatible with Furuno’s X-Class magnetron and NXT Solid-State Doppler radars, offering advanced features like Target Analyzer™ and Fast Target Tracking. The TZ Weather service provides global and regional forecasts, helping mariners plan departures and monitor evolving conditions with confidence.
The Dynamic Mooring feature helps boaters identify safe anchorages by combining real-time weather forecasts with TZ MAPS advanced charting. The system evaluates wind conditions and local topography, providing a clear color-coded mooring status for informed decision-making.
