Automatic Clutter Elimination (ACE)
Thanks to the new processor and antenna design, the FAR-3000 series greatly improves the keystroke and display performance. With the new ACE (Automatic Clutter Elimination) mode, the radar finds the most efficient adjustment by eliminating annoying disturbances from the display, automatically managing the gain and the anti-sea and anti-rain filters.
Innovative control unit
The keyboard of the new CHART RADARS has been completely redesigned, in line with the keyboard design of the new ECDIS FMD-3200. Intuitive and full of keys for all the main operations, it allows the entire system to be controlled with a comfortable trackball.
Intuitive User Interface
The user interface, organized with the STATUS BAR at the top and the INSTANT ACCESS BAR on the left, offers greater ease of reading and speed in managing the system, without forcing the user to navigate complicated system menus.
Multifunction display (MFD)
The EC-3000 system offers a workstation that combines flexibility and redundancy. The user can select the ECDIS page, CHART RADAR, CONNING screen and alarm page on any connected screen. This significantly reduces the workload and offers greater freedom on the bridge
Fast Target Tracking (ARPA)
The ARPA function has been greatly improved by greatly reducing the target acquisition time. The new FAR-2xx8 features the advanced ARPA feature with 100 targets (Fast Tracking Acquisition) which allows you to lock onto targets in just a few seconds.
