I'm Genoese through and through,and I hold a degree in Marine Environmental Sciences. I'm also a journalist and a ski instructor in Cervinia. During the summer, you'll usually find me chasing bluefin tuna, mainly through drifting, spinning and other specialist techniques. If there's one constant in everything I do on the water, it's Furuno.

I've been fishing the waters off the Gulf of Cagliari for around ten years. What started as a passion for fishing soon turned into an obsession with bluefin tuna drifting, and I've been hooked ever since.

Fishing is far more than just a passion for me, it's been the thread running through my life. The sea has taught me patience, respect and the importance of attention to detail. Those are the values I bring to every fishing technique I use and every project I take on.

I’ve been fishing since I was five years old, and I bought my first boat when I was 21. I enjoy practising almost every type of fishing technique. Once I’ve mastered a method, I like to challenge myself by trying new approaches and exploring different ways to target fish.

Born in Salerno in 1963, I am a lecturer in Film Studies and American Literature, a theatre and film director since 1984, and a sports journalist since 1992. Since 2001, I have worked as a television fishing expert for Sky and Rai, where I have shared my experience and contributed to the development of innovative techniques such as the “Sfera Kab.” I practise a wide range of fishing styles, with a particular passion for Bolognese fishing.

I have been passionate about sport fishing since childhood. I enjoy all forms of sea fishing, from trolling and vertical techniques to drifting, and I also try to pass on my knowledge and respect for the sea to the younger generation. Throughout my career as an angler, I have always relied exclusively on Furuno equipment, right back to the days of paper chart sounders.

Passionate about sport fishing since childhood, I have explored a wide range of techniques, with a particular focus on bolentino fishing and drifting for bluefin tuna. A two-time Italian champion, I have represented Italy in five world championship finals. I hold an IGFA world record and collaborate with industry companies on the development of technical equipment.

Departing from the European coasts, the crew set out to reach Iceland, sail on to Greenland, and then cross the legendary Northwest Passage, in order to document the effects of climate change on the marine environment and Arctic wildlife.

He is an athlete of the Italian Navy’s sports group. He was the youngest Italian ever to complete the Transat 650, also winning the Italian title and entering the ranking of the world’s top 84 skippers. Already an Italian champion in 2018, he brought the Italian Navy’s sails back across the Atlantic between Europe and America during the Transat ocean crossing.
