The CSH-5L MARK-2 is a high-performance full-circle scanning sonar designed for rapid detection of fish schools, individual fish, and dynamic underwater conditions surrounding a vessel. It provides a detailed 360° view of fish distribution and seabed conditions, displayed in 16 colors for enhanced visibility. Operating at a mid-frequency of 55 kHz or 68 kHz, the CSH-5L MARK-2 features a wider beam width and advanced target identification, making it particularly well-suited for deep-water searches. Its ability to clearly distinguish between fish and seabed echoes, along with improved tracking of bait fish, ensures superior detection capabilities. With automatic tilt scanning as a standard feature, this sonar is an excellent choice for both midwater trawlers and purse seiners.  

Designed for seamless integration, the CSH-5L MARK-2 features a compact keyboard and a black box configuration, allowing for a flexible and space-efficient installation. The system comprises a transceiver unit, a processor unit, and a hull unit available in either a 400 mm or 600 mm stroke. To accommodate diverse operational needs, a range of monitor options is available, including Furuno’s MU-series displays, specifically engineered to meet the rigorous demands of marine professionals worldwide. For added convenience, a second station can be easily set up by connecting an additional display and a small remote controller directly to the processor unit.
