The 82B-35R is a versatile 2 kW transducer with a wide selectable frequency range from 65 kHz to 110 kHz, designed for use with various Furuno sounders including the FCV-295, FCV-1150, FCV-1900, DFF3-UHD, and DI-FFAMP. This transducer maintains high sensitivity even when the frequency is shifted +/- 10% with the FCV-1100/1200, effectively reducing interference. The 82B-35R features a rugged FRP construction and is tank-mounted, providing durability for demanding marine environments. The beam angle becomes progressively sharper at higher frequencies, with a 12.5° angle at 68 kHz, 9.6° at 88 kHz, and 7.7° at 107 kHz. It comes with a 15 m cable, though no connector is provided, and may be installed in the tank of the 88B-10 or 100B-10R. When retrofitting, note that the directional pattern and sidelobe characteristics may vary, which could affect the sounder image compared to previous installations.
