The BBDS1 is an advanced network fish finder designed for TimeZero™ Software, NavNet 3D, NavNet TZtouch, and NavNet TZtouch2, integrating cutting-edge bottom discrimination technology alongside the proven FDF (Furuno Digital Filter) capabilities of the DFF1. This powerful system analyzes echo characteristics, such as particle size and hardness, to accurately classify the seabed into four distinct categories: mud, sand, gravel, and rock.
By seamlessly connecting the BBDS1 to your NavNet network, you gain access to invaluable seabed composition data, helping you pinpoint productive fishing areas and maximize your catch.
The BBDS1 offers two bottom discrimination display modes: Standard mode and Probability mode. In Standard mode, the most likely bottom composition is displayed in either a graphical representation or a four-color bar at the bottom of the screen, providing clear and intuitive feedback for enhanced fishing success.
