CM599LHG CHIRP transducer – 3 kW power, 28-60 kHz & 130-210 kHz frequencies
The CM599LHG is a versatile 3 kW CHIRP transducer designed for exceptional fish detection and depth capabilities. Operating between 28 kHz to 60 kHz (low frequency) and 130 kHz to 210 kHz (high frequency), it offers adjustable beamwidths and depths to cater to different fishing conditions. The low-frequency beam excels in deep-water fishing, providing bottom detail and revealing fish and structures, while the high-frequency beam offers precise detail for bottom fishing or targeting fish near structures. With Furuno Free Synthesizer (FFS) compatibility, fishermen can fine-tune their frequency to match the species or conditions, ensuring optimal sonar performance. This transducer also features a fast-response water temperature sensor, epoxy housing, and a 15-meter cable for easy integration.
TruEcho CHIRP™
Traditional marine Fish Finders operate at discrete frequencies such as 50 kHz and 200 kHz, use relatively short-duration transmit pulses, and use narrowband sonar transducers. In contrast, CHIRP (Compressed High-Intensity Radar Pulse) uses a precise sweep pattern of many frequencies within a long-duration transmit pulse from a broadband transducer. The equivalent sound energy transmitted into the water is 10 to 1000 times greater than a conventional marine Fish Finder. The echo energy returning to the transducer is likewise superior to that generated by a conventional transducer. The combination of CHIRP, a broadband transducer, and Furuno’s superior Digital Signal Processing, results in dramatically increased fish and bottom detection : TruEcho CHIRP™.
