Partners in Precision: Collaborating for Maritime Excellence

Rafa has collaborated with FESA since 2018 as a prostaff member, but his use of Furuno equipment began in 2005 when he was just starting out in the world of sport fishing in Mallorca. His favorite techniques are bottom fishing, deep-sea bottom fishing, and offshore trolling.

Juandi is a renowned professional fisherman in the Levante region, and in his spare time, he practices sport fishing. For both activities, he always uses Furuno equipment and has been a pro-staff member since 2019.

Ribbing for Arctic is an unprecedented expedition that achieved the crossing of the Arctic Ocean in a semi-rigid boat. Furuno España, along with other subsidiaries such as Furuno Italia, Furuno France, and Furuno Hellas, collaborated on this mission by providing essential electronic equipment on board. The main objective of the expedition was to raise public awareness about the serious consequences of climate change, documenting its effects on the marine environment and Arctic wildlife, as well as providing medical and material support to remote Inuit communities.

Colossos del Mediterráneo is a prestigious annual event held in Moraira, with the main objective of tagging tuna in collaboration with the Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO-CSIC). Furuno Spain is proud to have sponsored it since 2022.
