The CM599LHW is an elite CHIRP transducer that offers exceptional performance for both commercial fishermen and tournament anglers. With a low-frequency range of 28-60 kHz and a high-frequency range of 150-250 kHz, it delivers a total bandwidth of 132 kHz from one transducer. Its high-frequency performance provides excellent shallow-water detail and fish-target separation, while the low-frequency range ensures deep-water detection up to 3048 m. The 3 kW power, along with a 25° constant beamwidth, deliver comprehensive coverage and improved fish detection. Featuring a urethane housing, a depth sensor, and a 15 m cable with no connector, this transducer is built for superior durability and precision.

Traditional marine Fish Finders operate at discrete frequencies such as 50 kHz and 200 kHz, use relatively short-duration transmit pulses, and use narrowband sonar transducers. In contrast, CHIRP (Compressed High-Intensity Radar Pulse) uses a precise sweep pattern of many frequencies within a long-duration transmit pulse from a broadband transducer. The equivalent sound energy transmitted into the water is 10 to 1000 times greater than a conventional marine Fish Finder. The echo energy returning to the transducer is likewise superior to that generated by a conventional transducer.
