The FURUNO 165T-B54 is a bronze thru-hull multibeam transducer designed specifically for the DFF3D network multibeam sonar.
Operating at 165 kHz, it provides a wide 120° port-to-starboard view of the underwater environment, allowing the DFF3D to display fish targets, seabed contours and underwater structures across a broad area.
An integrated motion sensor compensates for vessel movement to provide clearer, more stable sonar images. A built-in temperature sensor also supplies water temperature data.
The bronze housing is supplied with a high-speed fairing block for conventional thru-hull installation. Alternatively, the transducer can be flush-mounted in the keel without the fairing block, depending on the vessel's construction and installation requirements.

The 165T-SS54 combines 165 kHz multibeam operation with a 120° port-to-starboard coverage angle for detailed underwater detection. Its built-in motion sensor stabilises DFF3D sonar images, while the integrated temperature sensor provides additional environmental information. The stainless steel thru-hull design supports installation with a high-speed fairing block or flush mounting in the keel.
