Normal fish finders typically have a beam angle of 40˚ or less, but the DFF3D multibeam sonar offers a 120˚ beam, providing seafloor coverage up to three times the water depth. It can detect fish directly beneath the boat at depths of up to 300 m (nearly 1,000 ft). The DFF3D's advanced operating modes offer more detailed fish targeting and seafloor visualization than standard fish finders. Its 3D sonar history creates an intuitive 3D image of the seafloor and fish schools, helping you choose fishing spots or assess seabed conditions. The Triple-Beam mode shows both the depth and direction of fish targets, while the cross section mode displays real-time sea column echoes across a 120˚ swath. The side-scan mode reveals target shapes and structures on both sides of the boat.
